With spring officially under way, stalls at the State Farmers Market are quickly filling up with local plants, flowers and fresh produce. To celebrate, the State Farmers Market will host several upcoming events.

This Saturday, the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina will host its Car Care Fair from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Visitors can receive free vehicle maintenance inspections and talk with experts about proper vehicle care.

On Saturday, April 7, the market will host the “WPTF Weekend Gardener Show.” Radio hosts Mike Raley and Anne Clapp will answer gardening questions from visitors just in time for the spring planting season.
Spring Herb Days will be held April 20-22. The multi-day event will feature fresh and dried herbs, as well as herbal products available for purchase. Specialists also will be on hand to offer free advice about growing and using herbs.
