The House passed two Dodd-Frank bills:

H.R. 2779 passed by a vote of 357 to 36. This bill clarifies that inter-affiliate transactions within a single corporate group are not to be regulated as swaps. Read our fact sheet to learn more.

H.R. 2682 passed by a vote of 370 to 24. The Business Risk Mitigation and Price Stabilization Act ensures that end-users of derivatives will be exempt from margin requirements under the Dodd-Frank Act, as Congress always intended. Read our fact sheet to learn more.

The House passed Rep. Paul Ryan's FY2013 budget resolution in a vote of 228-191. The day before the House overwhelmingly rejected President Obama's proposal, which called for more spending and higher taxes, in a 414-0 vote. Meanwhile, the Democratic-led Senate hasn't passed a budget in more than 1,000 days.
