Salmonella outbreak sickens 5 in Carolinas, 93 across U.S.

Federal officials are trying to find the cause of a salmonella outbreak that has sickened at least 93 people in the Carolinas and 17 other states, plus the District of Columbia.
The Centers for Disease Control says the investigation is focusing on sushi, as nearly 70 percent of victims interviewed so far reported eating some form of sushi within a week of getting sick.
