Reports from consumers who said they had allergic reactions to Odwalla Chocolate Protein Monster have prompted the company to issue a nationwide allergy alert and recall.
In a
news release Friday, Odwalla said it was contacted by four individuals who were not known to be allergic to soy and milk but said they were allergic to peanuts or tree nuts and who reportedly had "severe allergic reactions" after consuming Chocolate Protein Monster.
