Republican senators boycott hearing on Ariz. immigration law

Republicans on Tuesday boycotted a Democratic-led subcommittee hearing on Arizona’s controversial immigration bill. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), the ranking member of the subcommittee, called the hearing “election-year theater.”
