Today in Nash County: Hagan hosts NC Back to Work Job Fair and hosts“Conversations with Kay”

U.S. Senator Kay R. Hagan (NC) and Nash Community College invite North Carolinians to attend a North Carolina Back to Work Job Fair on April 30th from 9 a.m. until noon. Free to employers and job seekers, the job fair is part of Senator Hagan’s North Carolina Back to Work Jobs Tour, which has taken her across state to gather ideas and initiatives that can help move the workforce out of the unemployment line and into a job.
More than 60 employers have already registered to participate in the event. Job seekers are strongly encouraged to attend. Note to participants: Professional dress is required. No shorts, jeans, or caps.
Hagan will also host “Conversations with Kay” on April 30 in Nashville. Constituents can come meet with Hagan to talk about their concerns. Her constituent services staff will be on site to help people navigate issues with federal agencies, such as the VA, IRS or Social Security Administration.
