Alabama catfish farmers say foreign production damaging industry

On his visit to Auburn University’s Fish Farming Center in Greensboro, Senator Jeff Sessions said he wants Alabama's catfish industry to remain strong because it is so important to the rural part of the state.
Farmers said foreign competition is a major factor in decreased domestic catfish production, and imported catfish is not held to the same standards as that produced in the U.S.
