Nitrates in groundwater webinar May 18

The Livestock and Poultry Environmental (LPE) Learning Center will host a webinar May 18, 2012 at 2:30 pm (eastern) on Nitrate issues from a regional perspective. Recent California studies reported that 96% of all nitrate leached to the groundwater comes from cropland. These findings in California and the proposed solutions will be presented, as will nitrate issues in the Southeast, Midwest, and Intermountain West.
