Gov. Perdue appoints Graber to 10th District Court bench

 Gov. Bev Perdue today appointed Erin Mulligan Graber to the District Court bench for the Tenth Judicial District, which covers Wake County. She will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Jane Gray.

“I am very pleased to appoint Erin to the District Court bench,” Gov. Perdue said. “She has the knowledge, experience and temperament to be an outstanding judge.”

Graber is currently in private practice in Raleigh, focusing on family, juvenile and criminal law. She has held leadership positions in various legal organizations and has received recognition for her extensive pro bono work. Before attending law school, Graber worked at Interact of Wake County as an advocate for victims of domestic violence.

Graber received her law degree from the Loyola University New Orleans School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
