U.K. inks pork deal with China

The United Kingdom has agreed to export 50 million pounds — the equivalent of 22,600 metric tons — of pork to China annually. By comparison, the United States exported 375,000 metric tons last year, up from 130,000 in 2010, illustrating China's inconsistent demand that fluctuates from year to year.
