Developing tropical system could impact Carolinas

Suddenly, the Carolinas’ holiday weekend weather outlook isn’t quite so rosy. A developing tropical system off the Southeast coast is expected to spread stormy weather to beach areas from the Carolinas to Florida this weekend, and what is expected to become Tropical Storm Beryl also will have at least a minimal impact on the Charlotte area.
