Triad jobless rate fell to 9.1 percent in April

Three months of significant improvement in the Triad's unemployment rate has some economists expressing confidence that a recovery is under way. The rate fell 0.5 percentage points to 9.1 percent in April, the N.C. Commerce Department reported Friday.
