U.S. Rep. David Price (N.C.-4) sent a letter to President Obama calling for fair treatment of tobacco in the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP). Price asks for the current trade policy on tobacco to be maintained and that industry stakeholders be consulted before implementing the “safe harbor” proposal.
