Decision due this fall on Sanderson plant in Nash County

Sanderson Farms remains committed to building a second North Carolina plant in Nash County just over the Wilson County line. Joe F. Sanderson Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Sanderson Farms, said in a conference call with investors on Tuesday that while plans for the new plant remain on hold, a decision is expected in the fall after the crops are in the bin.
