Attached is the letter to the House Ag leadership that Congressman McIntyre led. We were able to draw strong bipartisan and cross regional support! Also, great showing from the North Carolina delegation on the letter with signatures from Congressmen Jones, Ellmers, Kissell, Butterfield, and Shuler and of course McIntyre.
Congressman McIntyre has been working with the Agriculture Committee on the policy priorities outlined in the letter and have gotten a really strong response. We are hopeful that some of the priorities will be included in chairman’s mark of the Farm Bill which gives us the best chance for success in the end.
