 An “abnormally wet” and “unseasonably cool” spring this week placed many Greene County farmers in a quandary. Should they celebrate the season’s porous start for making the area drought-free for the first time in nearly two years or bemoan it for setting its ever-important tobacco crop back two-weeks?
