Perdue urges lawmakers to reopen budget process

Gov. Bev Perdue on Tuesday again urged legislators to rework the state budget they passed last week but would not say whether she intends to veto the $20.2 billion state spending plan. “They need to keep working,” Perdue said during a brief news conference.
