Today the House will vote for the 31st time to repeal the health insurance reforms passed two years ago.

So, Republicans do have their own health care plan---their plan is what we had before.

Americans paid twice as much for health care as any other developed country, and didn’t live as long and weren’t as healthy.

Americans with health insurance didn’t know what they had until they got really sick or badly hurt, and then they might find their insurer wouldn’t pay for the care their doctor said they needed.

If you’d been sick before, that meant you had a preexisting condition and you’d probably never be able to get insurance to cover the very care you were most likely to need.

A serious illness often meant financial ruin even for people with insurance.

I won’t vote to go back to that, to kick 6.6 million young people off insurance, to take away tax credits for small business owners who really want to do right by their workers, and take away billions in prescription drug benefits for seniors.
