It's official: Asheville reacts to Trader Joe's

Not since the great Urban Outfitters upset of 2009 has Asheville felt such fervor over a national chain coming to town. Specialty grocery chain Trader Joe’s officially confirmed today in a statement to the Citizen-Times that the company will open a 13,000-square-foot retail store at 120 Merrimon Ave. sometime in 2013.
