State accepting public comments on Bonner Bridge CAMA permit application

The N.C. Division of Coastal Management is accepting public comments on a Coastal Area Management Act major permit application from the N.C. Department of Transportation for replacement of the Herbert C. Bonner Bridge in Dare County.
The public comment period for this permit application extends through Aug. 11. The division’s policy is to accept all comments up to the date of the permit decision. Comments can be sent to Braxton Davis, the director of the state Division of Coastal Management, 400 Commerce Ave., Morehead City, N.C. 28557, or via email at Braxton.Davis@ncdenr.gov.
