ICAC International Seminar: “Textiles and Clothing Trade Potential in Asia" October 17 of 2012

An international seminar under the theme “Textiles and Clothing Trade Potential in Asia" will be held on October 17, 2012 in Taipei, Taiwan, at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC). The seminar is organized by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) and the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC). The seminar will complement the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS), to be held on October 16-18, 2012.

The seminar will focus on emerging Asian market as a powerhouse for textiles and world economic growth. The seminar will look into ways the industry is keeping up with a growing demand and consumer trends in Asian markets, improving the competitiveness and productivity of textile industry while developing innovative materials and manufacturing technologies. Sourcing trends and shifts in supply chain in apparel industry in the emerging Asian markets will be also a focus of discussion.
