When Congress passed the Food Safety Modernization Act in Nov. 2010 agriculture and other food production industries knew some big changes were on the way. Now the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is hosting an event that will help farmers and others in the food production services to learn about and prepare for those changes.
