Based on the progress being made to secure a viable farm bill, Congresswoman Ellmers has decided to continue working with the Agriculture Committee and House Leadership to expedite the legislative process so that our farmers and businesses across the country are protected and can continue producing quality food and products for our citizens.

Furthermore, on July 20th of this year, Congresswoman Ellmers joined on to a letter from Congresswoman Kristi Noem encouraging leadership to bring the farm bill up for a vote. She is speaking with many of her colleagues and listening to their concerns as a member of the House Agriculture Committee in order to move this important legislation forward. She will continue to work to ensure that a vote is possible and secure swift action for the sake of our farmers.
