Wednesday, Congressman Larry Kissell (NC-08) will host the 4th Annual Federal Contracting Symposium at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center in Albemarle. The district-wide event is designed to help North Carolina businesses gain a better understanding of opportunities in contracting and procurement with the federal government. More than 400 attendees from small businesses throughout the 8th District have already registered to attend. The event will be held from 8:30am until 1:00pm.
Participating Federal Agencies include U.S. Department of Interior Fish and Wildlife Services, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Special Operations Command, Marine Corps Installations East, North Carolina National Guard, Department of Treasury, Camp Lejeune Contracting Office and many more.
