Carnival Corp. joins the gestation stall parade

Miami-based Carnival Corp. — the world’s largest cruise company — has pledged to “work to eliminate” gestation stalls from its pork supply chain by 2022, the Humane Society of the United States said in a news release. The company joins nearly 40 other retailers and food service firms that have said they will cease buying from pork suppliers that use the controversial housing.
