Cotton crop yields up in the Tar Heel State

The North Carolina Field Office of the National Agricultural Statistics Service reported average temperatures and above normal precipitation last month and that set the stage for some good crop numbers in the latest survey, taken Oct. 1 and released Oct. 11.
