Russia pork, poultry production rises

The Russian government has reported that the nation’s pork and poultry industries have had a successful run through October, according to a Bloomberg report.
In a statement sent via e-mail to Bloomberg, the Federal State Statistics Service said that pork production was up 14 percent from a year earlier and poultry production was up 15 percent.
Beef production, meanwhile, had fallen 4.4 percent from a year earlier.
