With a dramatically-redrawn Sixth District to serve in the 113th Congress, U.S. Rep. Howard Coble (R-NC) announced today that he has opened a new, fulltime district office to serve the citizens who reside in the Sixth. Congressman Coble has opened a new office in Rockingham County in the town of Madison.

The new office is located at 107 Midtown Commons in Madison and will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The phone number is 336.427.0044.

“With eight new counties to serve during the next two years,” Rep. Coble said, “we had to look at new ways to maintain our level of outstanding constituent services. We are pleased to announce the opening of a new, fulltime office in Madison. We are equally pleased to announce that a native daughter of Rockingham County, Lindsay Morris, will operate our office in Madison.”

Lindsay Morris is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Don Moore of Stoneville. Morris is a 1999 graduate of McMichael High School and attended Davidson College for her undergraduate studies and the University of St. Andrews for her Master’s degree. Lindsay and her husband, John, have one daughter, Lucy, who is 13 months old. John Morris is an attorney practicing in Madison and they live in Greensboro.

Lindsay Morris said she is excited to return to her Rockingham roots. “I have worked for Congressman Coble for nearly six years in Greensboro,” Morris added, “and I am looking forward to serving my home county and renewing old acquaintances and developing new relationships, both professional and personal.”
