U.S. producers to benefit from new Japan beef trade rules

AFBF economist says the change is a positive influence on consumer prices and higher beef consumption in Japan.
 
The United States and Japan officially sealed an agreement this week that will allow exports of U.S. beef from cattle less than 30 months of age to enter that Asian market starting Feb. 1.
