Annual Pork Forum set for March 7-9

About 25 North Carolina pork producers will travel to Orlando next week for the National Pork Industry Forum, the annual meeting of the industry's two national organizations. Delegates will be updated on key industry issues, consider resolutions that will set direction for the two organizations, and vote for organizational leadership positions. R.C. Hunt of Wilson will complete his term as National Pork Producer's president during Forum and will be recognized for his service. Other Forum highlights for the NC pork industry include: Bo Stone of Robeson County, recently named one of the four Faces of Farming and Ranching, will address the National Pork Board delegates and Jan Archer of Goldsboro is a candidate for National Pork Board.
