Tyson Foods Inc. will produce its new line of all-natural chicken products under the NatureRaised Farms brand at its existing plant in Wilkesboro, N.C., adding about 50 jobs just a month before the line’s debut, according to the Wilkes Journal-Patriot.

According to the product website, the new products will be made from chickens fed a vegetarian diet, no antibiotics, no added hormones or steroids and grown in a cage-free environment. NatureRaised Farms said it is monitored by the USDA, the American Humane Association and the Global Animal Partnership to certify conditions as the chickens are raised.

NatureRaised Farms products – which will include boneless, skinless chicken breasts and thighs, breast tenderloins, drumsticks, thighs and whole birds – will roll out regionally in April.
