About 100 food-based businesses will participate in the Flavors of Carolina food show in Charlotte. The annual event, organized by the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, connects buyers with local producers of sauces, wines and other specialty products.

Flavors of Carolina is by invitation only for vendors and buyers.

Tuesday, March 19
3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Nationwide Garage, Charlotte Motor Speedway
5555 Concord Parkway S., Concord

Flavors of Carolina aims to encourage food buyers from grocery stores, restaurants and food distributors to purchase locally grown and processed foods. The show leads to millions of dollars in sales for N.C. companies, provides high-quality foods to local residents and increases demand for more foods produced by N.C. farmers and food businesses.
