Farmland preservation advisory committee to meet

The Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, May 30, to receive updates on the trust fund budget, current reports and updates on previous grant cycles. The committee will also discuss the current grant applications and review recommendations from trust fund staff.

The ADFPTF Advisory Committee advises the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services on the prioritization and allocation of trust funds, the development of criteria for awarding funds, program planning, and other areas for the growth and development of family farms in North Carolina.
