Clean Water Management Trust Fund board meets June 9-10 in Raleigh

The board of trustees for the North Carolina Clean Water Management Trust Fund will hold its regularly scheduled meeting June 9-10 to discuss contract extensions, amending certain conservation easements and other business.

The two-day meeting will be held in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building, 512 N. Salisbury Street, in Raleigh.

The June 9 meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the June 10 will start at 9:30 a.m.

The trust fund was established 1996 to help finance projects that enhance or restore degraded waters, protect unpolluted waters or contribute toward a network of riparian buffers and greenways for environmental, educational and recreational benefits.

The 21-member, independent board has full responsibility over the allocation of moneys from the Fund.
