U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre (N.C.-7th), a senior member of the House Agriculture Committee, speaks on the floor of the U.S. House about the importance of the Farm Bill to citizens, communities, Rural America, North Carolina, and all parts of our great nation. The U.S. House of Representatives began debate today on the Farm Bill. In North Carolina, one in every 5 jobs is agriculture or agri-business related.
