New N.C. soil sampling requirements

A new law has gone into effect that changes the soil testing requirement for animal operations from every year to every three years. The change is effective this year. Farms that did a soil test last year will be good until 2015 and those who have already done a soil test this year will not be required to do a new one until 2016.
