Several upcoming events provide opportunities to showcase our state’s agricultural products:
The Mountain State Fair kicks off a series of events September 6-15 with numerous opportunities to showcase livestock, produce and other agricultural products. Leaders from other states’ departments of agriculture will sample much of what NC has to offer, and may visit the fair during their annual meeting in Asheville Sep 8-11, hosted by the NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. You can bet they will see why it’s Got to Be NC!
NCDA&CS Marketing will host its annual Goodness Grows in NC Golf Tournament Sept 17-19, bringing buyers and producers together in a fun networking event. The marketing department will host a Got to Be NC section featuring over 20 NC food companies during the International Blue Grass Festival Sep 27-28 in Raleigh.
The NC State Fair returns Oct. 17-27 with the Got to Be NC tent featuring NC food companies and their products.
