USDA to resume milk production surveys

USDA's National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS) will resume milk production quarterly producer surveys on Oct. 1, after the agency says it was forced to suspend the surveys in April due to sequestration. The surveys resume just as fiscal 2013 ends and the new fiscal year begins.
