Recent rains in the Midwest may have slowed the decline of soybean yields, but have done little to increase yield potential as USDA left the crop rating at 50% good to excellent. Corn harvest is a little slower than expected as USDA came in with 7% of the crop in the bin this week, missing the trades expected 10%.
