Carolina Farm Credit Director Tommy Porter serves on "Food Dialogues" panel

The U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance® (USFRA®), and the North Carolina Animal Agriculture Coalition (NCAAC) recently convened two panels of experts from multiple disciplines, including farmers, scientists, health care providers, food and environmental professionals. The panels answered questions focused on the use of biotechnology in our crops, modern livestock farming practices and the impact agriculture has on the environment.
The Food Dialogues®: North Carolina took place at the Raleigh Convention Center and attended by more than 150 household food decision makers, with several hundred additional participants watching the discussion streamed live online. Included on the panel was Carolina Farm Credit Director Tommy Porter.
