McIntyre signs discharge petition to get government open

U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre has signed the official discharge petition that would re-open the government.
Congressman McIntyre stated, “Today, I signed the official discharge petition that would get our government back open. The political games need to stop and the government needs to open.
“By signing this discharge petition, we are formally requesting that the Speaker bring up a clean budget bill so we can re-open the government and begin to address the challenges we have. I have voted at every opportunity to end this shutdown, and this is another step in my effort to help bring the bi-partisan bickering to an end and for both parties to work together. “
