Grain futures make modest gains overnight

While the debate rages over the size of 2013 corn and soybean markets, traders’ focus today could be on the demand side of the balance sheet as precipitation parks combines. Big wheat tenders the next couple days could confirm whether U.S. prices are at all competitive into North Africa, while some think corn is too high priced at three year lows.
