To read the full report, click here. GENERAL: There were 5.9 days suitable for field work for the week ending November 10th compared to 5.7 for the week ending November 3rd. Statewide soil moisture levels were rated at 2% very short, 30% short, 65% adequate and 3% surplus. The state received little precipitation this week and average temperatures dropped below normal ranging from 41 to 60 degrees. Dry, warm conditions allowed for significant increases in small grain plantings and sweet potato and soybean harvest.
