New NC Pork Council directors announced

NCPC has announced the election of five directors for three year terms starting in February 2014 to the NCPC board.

District 3:  Jimmy Dickens returns to the board to serve a second term. Jimmy farms in the Cameron Community.

District 7:  Don Butler has been elected to serve in District 7. He is currently Vice-President of Government Relations & Public Affairs and Sustainability Officer for Murphy-Brown, LLC.


Mark Daughtry has been elected to serve a second term. Mark is employed by Prestage Farms and currently holds the position as the Sow Production Manager.


Mark Hairr was elected to serve his first term on the NCPC board. Mark has been farming in Sampson County for most of his life.  

Neil Barwick will also be serving his first term. Neil owns and runs Maple Run Farms, Inc. in Kenansville.
