at Blue Ridge Community College for the 2014 Winter Apple School,
discussing topics ranging from cold-weather crop damage to growing a new
generation of farmers. Sponsored by the county's Cooperation Extension
Service and the Blue Ridge Apple Growers Association, the conference
featured 10 speakers who focused heavily on disease prevention, orchard
