President releases 2014 trade policy agenda

President Obama released his annual trade policy agenda this week, saying the administration expects to conclude the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade agreement negotiations this year and make significant progress in negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) with the European Union. The agenda also emphasized the administration’s support for enacting Trade Promotion Authority legislation to reauthorize “fast track” authority for the president.
