2014 North Carolina Pork Council scholarship

Each year, NCPC awards scholarships to two North Carolina agriculture students. This year, we are pleased to announce, that the scholarship amount being awarded will increase from $600 per student to $1,000 per student.
To be eligible, applicants must be an undergraduate or incoming freshman at either the community college or university level in North Carolina. They must also be enrolled as a full-time student in an agricultural curriculum of study.
Applicants who have a strong desire to remain active in the swine production industry after graduation; who are actively engaged in swine production; or an applicant whose parents or other family members are actively engaged in the North Carolina swine industry will be given preference by the selection committee.
