For veterinarian Matthew Turner, porcine epidemic diarrhea virus is proving a formidable opponent.
While fighting to keep the virus out of the Clinton-based Prestage Farms network, Turner said he found it moves quickly, is infectious at a very low dose and spreads by means vets do not fully understand.
