Chairwoman Stabenow to convene ag committee hearing on high frequency trading

Senator Debbie Stabenow, Chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, will convene a Committee hearing on May 13 at 10:00 a.m. in room 328-A of the Russell Senate Office Building. The hearing, High Frequency and Automated Trading in Futures Markets, will examine high-frequency trading and other forms of automated trading in the derivatives markets and what the Commodity Futures Trading Commission can do to help ensure market integrity. Witnesses to be announced.

The hearing, High Frequency and Automated Trading in Futures Markets, will convene on May 13 at 10:00 a.m. in room 328-A of the Russell Senate Office Building. A live webcast of the hearing can be viewed on the Committee’s website at http://ag.senate.gov.
