Soil Health Field Day May 29 in Norwood, NC

Ray Archuleta, NRCS Agronomist, will present a lecture on the soil health benefits of implementing cover crops and no-till practices. He will also conduct a live demonstration of stability and infiltration.
Dr. Alan Meijer, Extension Associate, will present on soil health and compaction, tillage, and soil management.


Breakout session topics include:
•      Plot details, treatment and seeding.
•      Soils reports, microbes, fertlizer, cover/stand, and scientific information.
•      Burn down and chemical termination strategies.
CCA, CCP, and NCDA Pesticide Credits - 3 credits for N, O, D, and X.


Lunch provided. Door prizes!
